Duna Office Guest Chair: Compact, Sturdy and Neat

The Duna office guest chair pairs a chrome-nickel plated metal frame with padded upholstery, designed for front desks, secretarial areas and small waiting rooms. Its one-piece leg and arm design gives it a solid stance, while its compact size saves space in tight areas.

Chrome-Nickel Plated Metal Frame

Duna's structure is a chrome-nickel plated metal profile. Properly made, it does not bend or warp for years. Designing the legs and arms as a single piece reduces joints and keeps wobbling to a minimum.

How long the finish stays bright depends on cleaning habits. Bleach and degreasers gradually dull chrome-nickel surfaces. This does not affect function, but it does make the chair look older, so wiping with a damp cloth and drying is all it needs.

Seat and Back Foam

Duna has 5 cm of foam in the seat and 3 cm in the back. A new chair is comfortable and guests leave satisfied after short waits. The upholstered back gives a soft, warm feel.

Foam lifespan is directly linked to how intensively the chair is used. In busy public areas where many people sit every day, the foam can start to soften within a year or two. When that happens, we renew the foam in our workshop.

Choosing the upholstery

• Fabric: cooler and more comfortable, but shows dirt sooner.
• Faux leather: easy to wipe clean, though it can feel warm in summer.

For waiting areas we usually recommend quality fabric. Faux leather looks smart and is practical where frequent cleaning is needed.

Arms and Seating Position

The arms are integrated into the frame, so they never wobble and stay solid for years. However, the compact seat may feel narrow for larger guests.

Duna is made for short waits and receiving visitors. Customers sometimes want to use it as a staff chair, but we do not recommend that. For all-day desk work, an ergonomic mesh work chair with lumbar support is a much better choice.

Dimensions and Space Planning

Duna measures approximately 55 cm wide, 60 cm deep, with a 44 cm seat height. These dimensions save space in small offices, front desks and other compact areas.

In large lobbies, its slim profile can look a little light. For bigger spaces, explore more substantial models in our waiting room chair category.

In high-traffic areas, models with thicker foam and a different frame, or beam seating systems, will last longer.

Made to Order

Duna is never sold from stock; each chair is built to your choice of colour and upholstery. The average lead time is about one week and may extend in busy periods.

Because it is custom-made, returns and exchanges are not possible, and slight shade differences between fabric batches can occur. For bulk orders we recommend seeing a sample first, as photos do not always show colours accurately.

Care, Repairs and Spare Parts

Clean fabric with soap foam and a damp cloth and faux leather with a lightly damp cloth, and avoid chemical cleaners.
