Whether it is a training room, a seminar hall or a council meeting room, the same two questions come up: will people sit comfortably for an hour or two, and will the chairs hold together for years? A good conference chair answers both.

At our workshop in Güngören, Istanbul, we build conference and meeting chairs, install them and repair them years later. On this page we cover the movable (non-fixed) models we offer for seminar and training spaces and where each one makes sense.

What to Look For in a Conference Chair

Sitting time

Conference and meeting chairs are designed for short to medium sessions. They are comfortable for a one- or two-hour seminar but are not a substitute for an all-day desk chair. Knowing this from the start avoids disappointment.

Note-taking

If attendees take notes, a writing tablet is a real advantage. In narrow halls, however, tablet chairs reduce the space between rows, so plan the layout carefully.

Fixed legs or casters?

Four-leg fixed models line up neatly in rows and are easy to manage in busy halls. Castor models are more practical in meeting rooms where people move around the table.

Foam, mesh and upholstery

Most of our models use 5 cm seat foam. A mesh back reduces sweating in closed rooms; a polyurethane foam back feels softer at first. Quality fabric stays cooler, while faux leather wipes clean.

Spare parts and repairs

Conference chairs are constantly moved and dragged. A model with available parts that can be repaired is the most economical in the long run.

Zeta Conference Chair

The Zeta Conference Chair is our classic conference chair. Its folding writing tablet uses a simple open-close mechanism and makes note-taking much easier. The four-leg chrome-plated metal frame stands firmly, plastic caps protect the floor, and the chairs are easy to set in rows. It has a polyurethane foam back and 5 cm seat foam, making it a balanced choice for training and seminar rooms.

Zeta Meeting Chair

From the same line, the Zeta Meeting Chair comes with a chrome-plated metal base and four casters. Its compact size suits small meeting rooms.

Mesh meeting chairs

Conference Chair Repair and Care

We also repair conference chairs: leg replacement, foam renewal, arm joint repair, writing tablet mechanism replacement and mesh renewal are all done in our workshop, and we supply spare parts. Wipe the upholstery with a damp cloth without pressing hard and avoid chemicals; clean the legs with a dry cloth. In busy halls, checking the screws once a month prevents wobbling.
