Duna Meeting Chair: Easy Movement and a Tidy Boardroom

The Duna meeting chair combines a chrome-nickel plated metal frame, quiet castors and padded upholstery, built for company meeting rooms and executive floors. Because it rolls easily around the table, turning towards a presentation or changing places mid-meeting feels effortless.

We manufacture Duna to order in our own workshop. Years of repair work have shown us which conditions help meeting chairs last, so below we cover both the strengths and the limits of this model.

Chrome-Nickel Plated Metal Frame

The frame is made from chrome-nickel plated metal profile. Properly built, it resists bending and its welds stay solid. The legs and arms form a single piece, which reduces joints that could loosen over time.

Keeping the finish bright depends on cleaning habits. Bleach and harsh chemicals can dull the surface within a few years. That does not affect function, but it ages the look, so a damp cloth followed by drying is all it needs.

Seat and Back Comfort

Duna uses 5 cm of foam in the seat and 3 cm in the back. Both are shaped to follow the body, giving a comfortable position through medium-length meetings.

Foam lifespan depends on how hard the room is used. In busy companies where the meeting room is full every day, foam gradually softens and this usually becomes noticeable after a few years. We can renew it in our workshop to bring back much of the original comfort.

Choosing the upholstery

• Fabric: breathes better and stays cool, but shows dirt sooner.
• Faux leather: easy to wipe, though it can feel warm in long sessions.

For meeting rooms we recommend quality fabric. Faux leather gives a more prestigious look but slightly reduces comfort in long meetings.

Castors and Flooring

Duna's castors roll quietly and smoothly on hard floors such as laminate, parquet and tile, without scratching.

On thick carpet, however, the chair moves with difficulty. When users force it, the castor bearings can be damaged over time. This is a flooring mismatch rather than a product fault, so if your meeting room is carpeted, talk to us before ordering.

Arms and Everyday Use

The arms are fixed and attached to the metal frame, so they do not wobble. Arm pads on top give the elbows a comfortable rest.

For larger users, the space between the arms may feel narrow. Duna is also not designed for staff who sit all day; for long hours at a desk, a mesh work chair with lumbar support is a far better choice.

Dimensions and Layout

Duna measures approximately 58 cm wide, 60 cm deep, with a 45 cm seat height. It suits small and mid-sized meeting rooms; in very large halls its slim profile can look light.

Made to Order

Duna is never sold from stock; each chair is built to your choice of colour and upholstery. The average lead time is about one week and may extend depending on order volume.

Custom production means returns and exchanges are not possible, and slight shade differences between fabric batches can occur. For bulk orders we recommend seeing a sample first.

Care, Repairs and Spare Parts

Clean fabric with soap foam and a damp cloth, then let it dry; wipe faux leather with a damp or lightly soapy cloth. Chemical cleaners quickly damage upholstery.
