The Almira mesh meeting chair pairs a chrome-plated metal frame with a breathable mesh back, giving conference rooms and boardrooms a neat, consistent appearance. It is built for spaces used a few hours a day, where looks and reasonable comfort both matter.

Chrome-Plated Metal Frame

Almira's structure is chrome-plated metal. A well-welded chrome frame holds its shape for years in meeting rooms where chairs stay in a fixed layout, and it lines up neatly around the table.

The most common issue we see in our repair service is finish care, not strength. Bleach and harsh cleaning chemicals cause dulling and dark spots at the joints over time. Wiping the chrome with a damp cloth and drying it slows this down considerably.

Mesh Back and Foam Seat

The firm mesh back lets air flow through, which noticeably reduces sweating in warm months. When the mesh tension is set correctly in production, it supports the back without digging in, so we check tension on every batch.

The seat uses 5 cm of foam. Foam quality decides how the chair will feel after a year of use, and low-density foam is the main reason seats sag, something we see often on chairs brought in for repair.

Choosing the upholstery

• Fabric: cooler and more comfortable in long meetings, but shows dirt sooner.
• Faux leather: wipes clean and looks smart in executive areas, though it can feel warm in summer.

For everyday meeting rooms we usually recommend quality fabric. Faux leather makes more sense where appearance is the priority.

Castors and Flooring

Almira's castors roll quietly and move easily on hard floors. They are mid-range castors rather than heavy-duty industrial ones, so it is worth knowing that before you order.

On carpet, hair and dust can build up in the wheels. In tight spaces where chairs are pushed in and out all day, regular cleaning and timely castor replacement extend the chair's life.

Who Is It For?

Almira is a conference chair for short to medium sessions. It has no lumbar support, so it is not designed for staff who sit at a desk all day.

Made to Order: What to Expect

Almira is never sold from stock. Each chair is built to your choice of colour, fabric and upholstery, with an average lead time of about one week that may extend in busy periods.

Because it is custom-made, slight shade differences between fabric batches are possible and returns or exchanges are not accepted. For bulk orders, we strongly recommend seeing a sample chair first, as screen colours can be misleading.

Care, Repairs and Spare Parts

Clean fabric with soap foam and a damp cloth, and faux leather with a lightly damp cloth. Chemical cleaners damage both the upholstery and the chrome.
