Mars Mesh Meeting Chair

The Mars mesh meeting chair is built for long meetings: a breathable mesh back keeps you cool, and a tilt mechanism lets you lean back and move freely. It works just as well at an everyday desk as it does around the conference table. Every unit is made to order in our workshop, with your choice of upholstery and color.

When we fit out offices, the complaint we hear most is "my back gets stiff once the meeting drags on." Mars addresses that by treating the backrest, seat and mechanism as one balanced system.

The backrest is carried by a rigid plastic frame shaped to follow the natural curve of the spine, with a contour at the lumbar area for lower-back support. Over it sits a flexible, highly breathable mesh fabric.

Solid foam backs trap heat, and in summer your shirt sticks to the chair within an hour. Mesh solves most of that. Good mesh also holds its tension; the early sagging we see on cheap versions is not something we expect from Mars.

Seat, Upholstery and Armrests

The seat uses 5 cm high-density grey foam that spreads body weight evenly and resists bottoming out. In our repair service, foam that collapses after a year or two is one of the most common issues, which is why we use dense foam here.

You can choose between two upholstery options:

• Faux leather: wipes clean easily, ideal for busy meeting rooms.
• Fabric: softer and warmer, a good pick for long sessions.

A solid metal frame links the back and seat. The armrests are capped with black plastic, so your forearms rest on a warm surface instead of bare metal.

Tilt Mechanism and Freedom of Movement

Mars features a tilt mechanism that lets you recline and lock the backrest where you want it. The chair swivels 360° and rocks forward and back in a controlled way, so turning toward a colleague or a presentation screen takes no effort.

Height is set with a Class-2 gas lift. The plastic star base is designed for users up to 90 kg, and silent twin-wheel castors glide smoothly on carpet and hard floors alike.

Cleaning and Care

• Dust the mesh weekly with a soft brush or vacuum attachment.
• Wipe upholstery with a damp cloth and mild soap, then dry with microfiber.
• Never use bleach, thinner or alcohol; they permanently damage mesh and fabric.

Repairs and Spare Parts

As a manufacturer with many years in production and technical service, we handle mesh replacement, mechanism repair, gas lift and castor renewal for Mars in our own workshop. We have seen many buyers forced to replace a chair simply because no parts were available. That is not a problem here.

Ordering, Production and Delivery

Mars is never held in stock; production starts when you order. Average lead time is about one week, slightly longer in busy periods. Since each chair is custom-made, please confirm color and upholstery before ordering.
