03Product description
The Huni mesh waiting chair is one of the models we install in hospitals, clinics, banks and corporate offices, and then maintain for years afterwards. Waiting room chairs wear much faster than office chairs: traffic is constant, people sit down and get up all day, and someone else always takes the next seat. A chair for these spaces has to be genuinely sturdy, not just good-looking.
We build Huni to order with that in mind, prioritising long, trouble-free service over decoration.
Huni stands on chrome-plated tube legs with a 1.5 mm wall thickness. Legs made from thin tubing tend to bend inwards over time, and the middle starts to sag, something we see regularly in our repair work. A thicker profile delays that problem considerably. On a level floor, the chair does not wobble.
Huni is not a lightweight chair. It takes a little more effort to move, but that is exactly what a busy waiting area needs. Very light chairs feel practical at first, yet tend to loosen and wobble in the long run.
Mesh waiting chairs look similar from the outside, but mesh quality makes a big difference. Thin mesh slackens after a few months and back support disappears.
Huni uses a tauter weave. It adapts to the body and flexes with movement, but never bags out. An anatomically shaped rigid plastic frame holds it in place.
Customers who previously had to replace other mesh chairs early often tell us this is where they notice the difference.
Lumbar support in the wrong place is just decoration. On Huni, the cushion is fixed exactly where it fills the lower back gap, neither too high nor too low. It needs no adjustment, so visitors do not have to fiddle with anything.
This detail matters most in areas with elderly visitors. It is not a miracle, but it noticeably reduces lower back stiffness during long waits.
The seat uses 5 cm of dense foam. It is firm rather than soft and may feel a little hard at first, but that is an advantage over time, because soft foam collapses quickly.
Upholstery can be faux leather or fabric. For clinics and hospitals we do not recommend fabric, as it stains and is hard to clean. Faux leather is the better choice for both hygiene and easy care.
The most common mistake is using strong chemical sprays. They stiffen and eventually crack the mesh and shorten the life of the upholstery.
A weekly wipe with warm water, a little mild soap and a soft cloth is enough; dry the surface straight away. Brush or vacuum the mesh gently from time to time. Avoid solvent-based cleaners entirely.
Every chair wears out eventually; what matters is not having to throw it away. On Huni the mesh, foam and legs can all be replaced. As a long-established manufacturer with an in-house repair service, we carry out this work with original parts in our own workshop.
Huni comes with a 2-year manufacturing warranty, and, just as importantly, parts remain available for years afterwards.

Huni is never sold from stock; each chair is built to your chosen upholstery and colour. The average lead time is about one week and may extend in busy periods. As a custom product, returns and exchanges are not possible. For bulk pricing, send us a message on WhatsApp.
Yes. With 1.5 mm chrome tube legs, a taut mesh back and firm foam, it is built for high-traffic waiting areas such as hospitals, clinics and banks.
We recommend faux leather. Fabric stains and is hard to clean, while faux leather is better for hygiene and easy care.
Huni uses 5 cm of dense, firm foam. It may feel a little hard at first, but it collapses far later than soft foam and keeps its shape under heavy use.
Huni comes with a 2-year manufacturing warranty. Even after that, we replace mesh, foam and legs with original parts in our own workshop.
