Who is the Seri mesh executive chair best for?

This chair is a sensible choice for:

If you like a very firm, fixed seat, we would not recommend it. The mesh back moves slightly with the user and will not suit someone who wants completely rigid support.

Back, headrest and sitting feel

The back is a perforated mesh panel stretched over a contoured plastic shell. Side supports fill the lumbar area to help protect the lower back during long sessions. The mesh-covered headrest supports the head and neck during short pauses and gives the chair a refined executive silhouette.

Mesh appeals to everyone at first glance; the real question is how it behaves a few months later. Poor mesh loosens and back support fades. On the Seri, the mesh holds its shape under normal use.

Seat foam and upholstery

The seat uses 5 cm of foam that spreads pressure across the hips and reduces fatigue over long periods. The most common problem in executive chairs is foam that collapses early, especially in budget models. The Seri is not in that category, though after years of heavy use a foam refresh may be needed.

Upholstery choice: Faux leather is easy to clean but can feel warm in summer. Fabric is cooler and more comfortable, as long as you accept some stain risk.

Mechanism and adjustment

The under-seat mechanism raises and lowers the chair and tilts it forward or backward, locking in the chosen position. It also allows a gentle recline for short breaks. The locking system is simple but dependable.

Mechanisms are often overlooked, and that is where trouble usually begins. This is not a multi-lever system, and an office rarely needs one. Simple mechanisms like this also cause fewer issues in repair.

Base, casters and armrests

The chrome five-arm star base stands steady. As a team that regularly sees bent and cracked bases, we find its load distribution sound. Large, soft casters roll quietly on hard floors and handle carpet without trouble.

Integrated black plastic armrests keep the elbows in a natural position, easing shoulder tension while typing or reviewing documents.

Cleaning and care

• Wipe the mesh back and headrest with a damp cloth without pressing.
• Avoid chemical products on mesh and upholstery alike.
• Dry-wipe the chrome base and check the casters now and then.

Repairs, spare parts and long-term use

Because we build these chairs, we also repair them: mechanism replacement, gas lift renewal, mesh back repair and base replacement. Spare parts are sold directly. Without parts, a minor fault can put a chair out of service for good.
