Kuver metal mesh office chair: a sturdier build for busy offices

The Kuver metal mesh office chair is the metal-reinforced, headrest-equipped version of our Kuver series. It is chosen for executive offices and heavily used workspaces alike. A chrome-plated metal support added behind the contoured rigid plastic frame gives the chair extra strength.

Why the metal-supported frame matters

The black rigid plastic frame curves backwards to wrap around the spine. The chrome-plated metal support behind it adds strength that plastic alone cannot provide.

In standard mesh chairs the frame gradually loses its stiffness, and users say it "feels like it might snap." We see this kind of loosening often in our repair workshop. On Kuver Metal, the support helps the back stay firm under heavy use for much longer, which makes it a sensible investment for offices that are busy all day or run in shifts.

What the mesh back really does

Seat, upholstery and mechanism

• Seat: At least 5 cm of high-density gray foam that keeps its comfort long after cheaper foam has flattened.
• Upholstery: Fabric or faux leather. Fabric stays cooler, faux leather looks sharp; for busy offices we generally recommend fabric.
• Mechanism: A dual-lever tilt moves seat and back together, allows gentle rocking and locks at your chosen angle, so you can set separate working and resting positions.
• Gas lift: A Class-4 gas lift for smooth, precise height adjustment.
• Arms and base: Black plastic fixed armrests and a polished, rust-resistant chrome star base.
• Casters: Quiet PU casters that roll easily on carpet and stone floors.

Cleaning and care

• Wipe the upholstery with warm water and neutral soap suds on a damp cloth, then dry with microfiber.
• Brush the mesh back and headrest gently once a week.
• Never use chemical sprays; they break down the materials quickly.

Repairs, spare parts and delivery

As the manufacturer, we handle repairs, maintenance and spare parts ourselves: mesh replacement, mechanism repair, headrest renewal, gas lift, armrest and caster replacement, all with original parts.
