Kemah mesh work chair: full ergonomics in a small footprint

The Kemah mesh work chair is our compact answer for offices where every square meter counts. At 60 cm wide and 65 cm deep, it tucks neatly under a desk and several can stand side by side without making the room feel cramped. Being small does not mean cutting corners: a mesh back, 5 cm foam seat and tilt mechanism come as standard.

Across installations in small offices, startups and busy call centers, we kept hearing the same thing: "The chairs that fit aren't comfortable, and the comfortable ones don't fit." Kemah is designed to solve exactly that.

Why a compact size matters

Put an oversized chair in a small room and two problems appear. Getting in and out from the desk becomes awkward, and a row of bulky chairs makes the space look cluttered.

On the other hand, the cheapest "small enough" chairs often come back within months with a sunken seat or a back that no longer supports. With Kemah, the aim is to reduce the size, not the materials. Even in a small meeting room for 6–8 people, everyone can move freely.

Mesh back and frame

The back frame is rigid plastic, shaped to follow the curve of the spine. Its high-strength mesh flexes as you move without creating pressure points.

Thin, low-grade mesh starts to sag within a year, and that is the fault we see most often in our repair workshop. The mesh on Kemah keeps its tension for a long time. In small offices where the air conditioning struggles in summer, a dry back is a welcome bonus.

Seat, upholstery and mechanism

• Foam: 5 cm high-density gray foam that resists sinking and eases pressure on hips and thighs.
• Upholstery: Fabric or faux leather. Fabric breathes better, faux leather wipes clean; for small enclosed offices we usually recommend fabric.
• Mechanism: A single-lever tilt lets you recline and lock the back at your preferred angle. Unlocked, the chair gently rocks with your movement.
• Gas lift: Class-4, for smooth and precise height adjustment.
• Base and casters: A rust-resistant chrome star base with 65 mm PU casters that glide on carpet and won't scratch hard floors.

Cleaning and care

• Wipe the upholstery weekly with a damp microfiber cloth and mild natural soap.
• Vacuum the mesh back gently to stop dust from building up.
• Never use chemical cleaners; they wear the materials out quickly.

Spare parts and service

We keep original parts for mechanism repairs, mesh replacement and new casters. Because we are the manufacturer, there is no long wait for parts and most jobs are finished within a few days.

Ordering and delivery

Kemah is not kept in stock; production starts with your order. Color, upholstery type and quantity are up to you. Average lead time is around one week and may extend by a few days in busy periods. As a made-to-order product, returns and exchanges are not accepted.
